We are all a bit sad and bewildered here at the Serial Distractions Llama Milking  Station and Soda Pop Factory. The passing of the legendary David Bowie was a bit of a shock. He strode the world as a colossus and I think most of us felt that he was immortal.

I came to Bowie fandom a bit late in life. I didn’t connect with his music as a fairly sheltered youth, but came to appreciate it more as an adult. I loved him as an actor as well, and was always delighted when he appeared in various projects. He was multi-talented, intelligent, and never, ever, boring. The world will mourn his passing.
