Top Posts
The top three posts of 2015 included only one I wrote this year, Schoolyard Logic: Sad Puppies and the Hugos–and it was number three with only 66 views. The most viewed post of the year was Moon Over Wisconsin: Science Fiction and Big Ideas, a post I wrote back in October of 2010. I clearly need to start writing more currently relevant posts. Of course, I said the same thing last year, and here we are.
Visitors and Views
We had 1577 views of the site this year and 1212 visitors. That’s less than the year before, but we had a lot less content this year. This has been a slow year at the Serial Distractions Spider Ranch and Soda Pop Confectionary™ and we simply can’t pull in visitors unless we produce content. That’s all there is to it.
Top Distraction
This year I only reviewed four books–which is pretty pitiful reading-wise for yours truly. I’m going to try and rectify that in the coming year. That said, from our short-list of really excellent picks, I have chosen our Top Distraction of 2015:
Tome of the Undergates by Sam Sykes
I really enjoyed this book and its characters have stuck in my head all year. That’s staying power.
Anyway, that’s a look at 2015. Here’s to a new and improved 2016!
