Being Thankful: Inlaws

My wife and I have been married for 11 years now. One of the many things for which I am thankful (first and foremost being getting to spend my life with my wife) is her family. From day one they have been supportive of us and of everything we do. Her parents were instrumental in allowing me to attend graduate school and always try to make our lives better. Her sister is a wonderful, funny, smart, and talented woman that I’m privileged to count as a friend and a sister. And now I have a brother-in-law (a new experience for me) and a new little nephew, too!

Plus, they are all just fun people to be around. I’m extremely lucky.

They have all welcomed me with open arms and I’m proud to be counted as one of them.

About Shedrick

I am a professional librarian and a part-time writer that's working to do that the other way around. I currently live in North Texas in the lovely city of Denton (“The Home of Happiness“) with my lovely wife and the obligatory demon-spawn cats. When not writing, gaming, or watching cheezy kung-fu flicks, I can sometimes be found in a pub (or the American equivalent) enjoying a fine brew.
