A while back I submitted a newly edited and cleaned up version of “Teo Torriatte” to an e-zine called Allegory. You might recall that this story won me a third place certificate in the NCTC Creative Writing contest back in 2008.
My story apparently made it to the “maybe” pile but did not make the final cut for this quarter’s issue. Nevertheless, the nice folks at Allegory have listed my name and the story in their “Honorable Mention” column.
It always sounds kind of cheesy but it is absolutely true: it was honor even to be nominated. Thanks!
