Talking With My Mouth Full

So, earlier in the month I set up my infamous content schedule (“will he shut up about that already, geeze…”) in which I committed myself to doing blog posts three times per week and serial fiction entries twice a month (one for each of my ongoing stories).  Well, I’ve had to make some revisions as I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.

Three blog posts a week turned out to be a bit more than I could handle.  Some weeks I have a lot to say…some weeks, not so much.  I’d much rather produce something of at least minimal interest than have to resort to obligatory posts to fill time…it wastes my effort and your time.  You’re welcome.

So, the new rule will be posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with no change to the serial fiction schedule.  Plus, I reserve the right to post at other times if I feel like it.  So there.

Right now I’m working on a 1000-word piece for a contest sponsored by Raw Dog Screaming Press.  I’m starting to get into the groove and am enjoying it.  I’ll also be attending both DragonCon and FenCon in September, though just as a fan.  Maybe one day, in the glittering future, I’ll be there as an Author.  A guy can dream, right?

About Shedrick

I am a professional librarian and a part-time writer that's working to do that the other way around. I currently live in North Texas in the lovely city of Denton (“The Home of Happiness“) with my lovely wife and the obligatory demon-spawn cats. When not writing, gaming, or watching cheezy kung-fu flicks, I can sometimes be found in a pub (or the American equivalent) enjoying a fine brew.
