“Prox Peak” on Nevermet Press

My second piece for Nevermet Press is a sci-fi encounter at the ominous “Prox Peak“.  This is a variation on the Neirave fantasy cycle (“The Planet Nyraeve”) that was introduced earlier in the month.  I was going for a “Heart of Darkness” or “The Thing” sort-of vibe and I think I pulled it off.  Plus, the artwork by Rob Torno is top-notch.

Like I said in my previous Nevermet post, Nevermet provides open-source gaming content that is system neutral and now crosses genres.  It’s a really cool outlet for me and it’s great fun to collaborate with a talented bunch of creative-types.

Be sure and stop by Nevermet and let us know what you think!

About Shedrick

I am a professional librarian and a part-time writer that's working to do that the other way around. I currently live in North Texas in the lovely city of Denton (“The Home of Happiness“) with my lovely wife and the obligatory demon-spawn cats. When not writing, gaming, or watching cheezy kung-fu flicks, I can sometimes be found in a pub (or the American equivalent) enjoying a fine brew.
